Waking up to an amazing view from a Grand Club room on the 31st floor. It was the first morning back in California after NYFW!
Ordered a huge breakfast from my room! Everything tasted so delicious!
Around 5 PM I started getting ready when my sister came over after work.
We started the evening off right with one of my favorite dishes: shumai!! (Chinese dumplings dipped in sauce).

After dinner we were lead to the penthouse where they had tea, goodie bags and sweet treats. The view from the Presidential Suite (34th floor) was simply perfect. Cheers to a wonderful night and happy Chinese New Year!

Express is my go-to whenever I’m in need of tailored, on trend and affordable office wear. What I love most about these pieces is how when combined they are adorably yet indisputably work appropriate. And yet once separated they can each make a jaw dropping ensemble on their own! My pink lace pencil skirt is perfect for spring and my suit jacket will also look amazing with jeans. My instinct these days is to go with gold accents but I think the silver was a perfect touch.

Styling boyfriend jeans for the first time was a fun challenge. I typically like to go for really tailored pieces and the whole idea of boyfriend jeans is casual... messy... fun. I decided to just go with my gut and offset the "messiness" with a super structured blazer and accessories. I did pair the denim with a button down blouse to keep the look a bit more masculine. When it gets warmer I'll be pairing my boyfriend denim with crop tops and flip flops. They are the perfect kind of jeans to throw on if you just want to look effortless. My suggestion is to always compensate and wear something tailored, cropped or super feminine like strappy stilettos.

Monochrome outfits are an easy way to look more wealthy, polished and mature. Of course fit is extremely important (loose yet fitted - nothing should be tight) and it is best to choose suit separates more often than not. I wear heels so often it is easy to forget how much I love wearing comfortable kicks too. It is also easier to have a chance adventure when you are wearing sneakers, versus trying to spontaneously run to the park in stilettos :) Especially Sperry shoes which have just the right amount of grip and are so incredibly classic. (As seen during #SperryNYFW) I dressed uber casual yesterday as I was enjoying the California sunshine and perfect temps. I love the pink color of my shoes and you can bet I'll be wearing them a lot this spring and summer.
