This top is from Style Sofia! I love dolman tops because they are so easy to move in :) The material is nice and breathable too. I also got this lovely little white messenger bag from Sheinside. Messenger bags are so versatile it's great! This particular one has a nice clasp and is made very well too. Yikes and if you didn't notice, I forgot my accessories, as in necklace/ring/bracelet/watch. Saddens my heart to think I could forget something so easy as that. Oh, and if you haven't already seen it, I created a makeup tutorial for my eyes. Its really easy, you can see it here.

While any color looks good with white, and the same for black, sometimes the best match up is black and white together. I added a pop of pink and touches of gold to make this interesting, and tada! I love this outfit. Simple, clean and cute, don't you think?

This Romwe skirt looks and feels like a skirt, but hey tricked ya-- it is not a skirt. I think it is what you would call a skort since the front covers up the loose shorts underneath. However, there is so much material, no one even noticed the back was not like the front til I told them. I love the light material and flowy style. It makes a bit of a swishing noise when I move too :) There is only one left on Romwe right now, and it is such a nice piece I would recommend requesting on their Facebook wall for them to restock.

Yesterday I spent a lot of time making a photo tutorial for my eye makeup. It is ridiculously simple, I mean six steps is not very many right? I did throw in some personal tips though, so hopefully you ladies find it useful. I'll be posting it very soon :)

And about my post title - it's from a Shania Twain song. I'm not really into country music, but I do have a lot of good memories listening to her on road trips from when I was younger!

I really love the dark, soft colors in this outfit, a bit of a change from my other recent posts :) Paired with a light cardigan/blazer and maybe a dark brown or nude briefcase, this outfit would also work well for a day in the office. Instead, I did some light shopping :) And yes, although I am wearing sort of dark colors, it works very nicely for summer too as the materials are very light, such as this skirt from Minted Republic. It is made from the same material as my sharkbite top in this post. One of my favorite things about 100% polyester is that it doesn't wrinkle!

Now I want to talk a bit about the fit ;) You can see that the waist was just perfect, and I am wearing a size small. (Measured to be 26.5 inches exactly). I did, however, get the bottom part of the skirt tailored at my local alterations/cleaners. I thought I might be able to pull it in on the sides and get a slit in the back (for walking) because I like a bit more of a tailored, slim look. But, there was not enough material for a slit. So here you can see what I mean about taking it in on the sides:

I actually bought this top as a beach cover up, which is why is looks kind of big :) (For reference it is a size medium, and I usually wear small or extra small). I really wanted to wear a white, loose blouse with this look though, so it had to do!

The reason I called this post Lime Crime is because of two things: 1) My skirt looks more yellow in the pictures, but in person I would definitely call it neon lime 2) I am wearing Lime Crime lipstick, which I just love. It's called Countessa Fluorescent which I think I've worn in photos a few times before. It's a very fun neon pink, goes on really well if you lips aren't dry and stains them too, and my lips stay colored, (even if it is a trace of the color, some is better than nothing) - all day!

This pretty little Motel Rocks dress is a stretchy mix of ultra fine cotton and semi-transparent lace mesh, which is one of the lesser seen but current spring/summer 2012 trends. Motel Rocks is now sold out of this dress specifically, though they have a short sleeved version here, and the same long sleeved style in periwinkle and silver (Edit: They restocked it here!). I love the fun style and how it somehow made me look more curvy. BUT, if you are thinking of buying this dress, please first consider that you may not be able to wear much underneath!

What I love about this time of the year, other than the perfectly warm days, the extended sunlight, and the ability to wear shorts without freezing... is these really beautiful pink roses in our front yard. They only bloom for about two months of the year... so most of the year we have these wretched looking flower-less bushes. I'm pretty sure we have the pickiest, most short lived roses in the neighborhood. Haha ♥
