This is a completely Nasty Gal inspired outfit, as I think the shape up skirt is the main star. I love that it's different, and it adds a whole new edge to this look that I normally don't incorporate. The (sold out, sorry!!) Market HQ muscle tee and the "electric" bangle from Merrin and Gussy added some zing too. When I walked around, I noticed strangers specifically staring at my skirt, not my legs. That's a good thing! And now I've said it before and I'll say it again... a little differently :) Nasty Gal is just that cool girl style you might not have known you've all been dying for. I check out their new stuff nearly every day!!

Another "It looks cold but isn't really" kind of day :) My outfit is a little bit of casual mixed with chic (Zara booties) and edge (studded skull bag). We have so much rain forecasted for the whole week... I can only hope the sun will come out soon. I think you can tell I'm more of a warm weather kind of girl. :)

All these black textures and shades of the most vibrant dark purple made me feel especially dark and mysterious. And my oh my, this coat is so glamorous I love it!! I actually styled it twice so I have I'm wearing it in another look I'll show in either my next post or a bit later (to mix it up a bit you know). 

Now what you might find interesting about this clutch, is that it is already mixing metals with gold and white/silver. So I wore all gold jewelry but I think a clutch with mixed metals gives you the go-ahead to mix some of your own jewelry too.

I love this infinity scarf from Sunday Scarves... it is actually my first infinity scarf and seriously it is so convenient!! You don't have to worry about how it looks at all because it always looks just right :) I thought teal would be fun to pair with purple and black... rich tones are my favorite and the only one missing is blue. (But that would have been too much!)

I don't wear full length dresses too often as it's easy to feel overdressed in the Bay Area, but really, everyday we're alive is a celebration, so dress up!!! :) Tart Collections has this classic wrap dress is Pine as well, which is equally if not more stunning... not to mention, emerald/dark green is the color of the year :)
