July 4th is just around the corner :) So what better time to get a little patriotic with my reds, whites and blues? And did you notice how this pretty blazer from Style Sofia has little cut outs on the shoulder? I always like unique little touches to otherwise classic pieces.

Today I had a fun time at a local water park! I decided to try out a lighter, more summery makeup look and well, it was an experiment. Too bad experiments aren't always perfect. Two products with notability: I had on some Smashbox BB cream tinted moisturizer which didn't have very good holding power or coverage though it looked natural enough. I also used my Urban Decay waterproof liquid liner, and it didn't budge one bit. Cat eye liner for a wild day in the water, yes please! Do you have any good summer makeup products you can recommend? Or do you think water park/beach makeup is silly?

Thanks to Kasil Workshop in LA, I now own the softest jeans EVER. They have five styles to choose from, I chose the Benatar. I love the wash on them too. They are more high waisted than I'm used to - which worked well with my awesome crop top from Furor Moda. Did you know this is a swiss cross on the front of my top? The same cross the Red Cross is based on? :)

Now I'm wondering if I should do anything to my hair. Maybe a subtle ombre effect? I definitely need a hair cut because all of my layers have grown out! How do you change your hair for the summer? Or do you leave it as is?

When I first saw this skirt it reminded me of Lassen, one of my favorite oceanic artists. You should look up his work if you like tropical, dreamy, magical, underwater and ocean scenes. :) Now since it's such a colorful skirt it can really be styled many ways, but I think I mentioned before that I am really into cobalt blue lately so I just had to style it with this top. The colors just pop don't they? Color is amazing... and so is Motel Rocks :)

Lastly I want to mention that it's so ridiculously exciting when I see my photos on tumblr or instagram with over 25,000 likes/loves, but if only people would source me! They are my pictures... I put the time into creating and styling them so please, please credit me ♥

Simple in stone... as in a stone button collar dress from In Love With Fashion. Looking at these photos I actually wish I wore a chunky gold necklace and thick brown leather belt. Do you ever do that - change your mind about what you should have worn after it is too late? Haha. Next time!

Instead you can see I just added a tiny gold necklace, some snake print heels and my brown leather bag from Romwe. Easy look for a casual get together with friends, but a little too low cut for the office. I should also mention that this dress was tailored (as I seem to be doing a lot these days) to have the left arm hole taken in, and the bottom of the dress tapered to make it a bit more curvy.

I saw a girl at the gym yesterday wearing these Black Milk muscle leggings. Omg. Have you heard of them? So daring, and definitely not my thing. And I didn't think you could wear them to the gym... because are they really made for sweating? What do you think?

Or shall I say.... welcome to the Hotel Oregon? I just spent ALL. DAY. in the car and finally I am in Oregon for my cousin's college graduation! Unfortunately however, I thought I would be back by Tuesday night... but it's been moved to Wednesday night and I didn't really plan for that... so I may be a day late on a post. Or not. We'll see ;) Maybe I'll have a lot of Instagram photos of my trip that I can show instead? :)

This place is beautiful by the way!! The air is rich with oxygen, the water amazingly fresh and lush forests cover the land. Even the clouds were different. Like a Salvador Dali painting, melting into the sunset. Stunning.

I decided this outfit would look best in a very natural, grassy atmosphere, and luckily we didn't have to go too far. It was SO gross though because right when the sun started to set, about one trillion bugs rose from nowhere and my sis and I basically ran for our lives. :)

I have been obsessed with finding the perfect fringe vest in the last few weeks, so imagine my excitement when Fox House asked me if I wanted something from their store! They have cool, unique, modern and vintage clothing and jewelry, just perfect for summer festivals or hanging out anytime :) And it went so well with my new RVCA ripped hem shorts and studded cowboy booties from Swell! Gotta love a cool, laid back look.

Lately I've been obsessed with wearing cobalt blue! I know I haven't really been showing it on my blog, but I've been wearing a variety of cobalt blue shirts almost all the time (including the gym!). This beautiful dress was sent to me by LOVE and I think it's obvious I just love it. It's chic, trendy, sexy and beautiful. The little cut outs are subtle but just enough. I love the soft and light material too. I did get it tailored to fit my figure a little better though because I wear more of an XS/S in clothing and their smallest sizes are S/M.

This past weekend was my sister's birthday, if you follow me on Instagram (@hapatime) you probably saw the photo(s) :) She turned 17! We went out and celebrated 2x at restaurants because it's so fun to eat out, and then she's going to have another "real" birthday party in a week or so.

Andddddddddd - guess what?! The Akira contest results are out and I won for most new traffic, which means that rather than the $2500 grand prize, I get a free pair of shoes. I can't decide yet what shoes to pick but am really excited about this, so I want to thank you all again for all the help... as I obviously couldn't have won them without you :)
