This is just a fun weekend look and what I seriously love about these shorts besides the fact that they are so on-trend and have a great cut is A) they go with everything and B) they make any top look cute! I don't know what "mi$$ing dollars" means but I've just told anyone that asks to take it literally :) The platform sandals I'm wearing are a bit outdated (last year) but I just couldn't pass up the chance to look like I'm, oh say - 6 feet tall. Haha not really but nude platforms do tend to make anyone look taller.

When you want to look polished but still wear your favorite denim, just throw on some heels and a pretty blouse! Unfortunately the minute you shun the heels you will probably look frumpy. Just my opinion of course. I am the type to only wear flats with shorts or leggings. I also usually pair my sneaker wedges with denim for an edgier/fun but still casual look (with a loose tee/tank of course!).

Just a casual but classy summer dinner look for you guys! This cool blue Spiegel jacket from the wonderful spring line designed by Richard Lowe III can be dressed up or down - I paired it with gold and bronze touches to make it a little dressier though :) It would also be great with gray or white tennies for a day at the beach or park!

Now I know I'm not smiling in most of these pics but in reality my boyfriend was making me laugh way too much and every time I tried to tone it down I think I came out looking a little too serious.

I was trying to name this post something related to galaxies, ice, princess, etc. But ultimately couldn't decide :P All in all it's really just a fun party outfit! I mean you can probably tell I was just having a ball shooting it alone! 

 This Black Milk galaxy bathing suit (it's really for swimming!) has actually been sitting in my closet for awhile. I originally wanted to pair it with shorts for you guys but realized that was too similar to my other Black Milk bathing suit outfit! It really matches perfectly to my new Savous silver skirt don't you think though? Paired with icy and edgy accessories this look really came together :)

Now I know it's Tuesday but I shot this on the weekend so this is in fact a fun, relaxed weekend look! I love crop tops lately as you can all probably tell :) And I do recommend everyone has at least one chambray shirt in their closet, but denim shirts are good too. They go so well with so many things! I mean as a layover piece like this or alone with white, black or any color bottoms really too! 

Culottes are like loose shorts that almost look like a skirt but are clearly not a skirt. The ones I'm wearing from OohLaLuxe are a nice switch up from the typical shorts or skirts looks I am always wearing :) I especially like the soft floral print so they would be great for spring too! 

Also wanted to mention my sister (photographer) left for Europe yesterday. I'm so sad :( I hope she stays safe and I'm going to work with other photographers but it's not the same you know?!

Normally I would say balance a look with tight denim with a looser top - but something about wearing Bebe always makes me want to channel my inner Bebe girl... aka sexified. In fact, this feels like a daisy duke look but without the daisy dukes. Do you know what I mean?

I think these jeans are meant for that real cropped denim look on taller girls but I actually really like the length on my 5'4" frame! They end at a strange spot, (right above my ankle) but still it feels right.

The weather has been amazing every day and I'm really loving summer as always. How about you guys?? :)

This is my second time wearing an Equipment top! It's a Small though and way too big so I tucked it in (always works). The white one I wore here fits much better and is an Xsmall. I love the lime color paired with cobalt blue jewelry and liquid black. It's a very sleek but still sort of summery combo!

I'm also wearing my brand new Burberry sunglasses from SimplyEyeglasses.com!
