Happy New Year!! Wahoo!!! How was your New Year celebration? And did you make any new years resolutions? Today I went with my family to the local "Global Winter Wonderland". It was cool and very busy! It was such a bummer the camera was low battery because we only had time to grab a few photos!
New dress - LOVE, shoes - Aldo, New watch - Macy's Style & Co., New bag - Aldo, necklace - Aldo, belt - Forever 21
This is my first LOVE dress. It is so classy and the material is shiny and gorgeous! The only problem is, I had to buy a S/M as it is the smallest size they offer, and it is slightly large. So I may have to do some tailoring!
The purse was a Christmas present from my boyfriend's parents. It is just perfect! Comfortable, sparkly, versatile - can be used casual or dressed up and quite simply eye candy IMO :) The watch was also a present from my boyfriend, and it is so nice! It's not fancy like Marc Jacobs or Michael Kors (though that would be cool!) but I honestly think it looks just as lovely as any name brand! Style & Co. can be found through Macy's only, and their merchandise is very well priced and high quality.
Oh by the way, I just couldn't resist taking some photos with my brand new car because I matched it perfectly! Shiny black car with silver trim and reflecting the gold sun vs. shiny black dress with silver and gold accessories. Cool right?
Personally, I don't think new years resolutions are the best idea. I feel like they make people feel limited as to when they can "start fresh." I believe that every day is a new day and why wait for the beginning of the year to "finally get into shape," go after your dream job or to work on your relationship with your family? Make goals or resolutions whenever you want/need to! For me that is just about every few weeks! Aim for constant improvement in your life. Aim for the most happiness you can bring yourself, every day, and every moment, because truly that's all we really have. Not everyone has a year, a month, or week. You just never know... so don't wait for a new year. Be the best you can be, every day. :)
