I've been going to the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk a lot lately and must say it is one of my new favorite places to shoot. With all the bright colors, music and fried food aromas wafting through the air, you can't help but feel cheery. Albeit it's been really hot and I seriously burnt my shoulders (my first peel... eek!) I'm already dying to go back! Just can't forget the sunscreen this time!
This Red Clover dress is not surprisingly called the Boardwalk Striped dress! It fits in so perfectly! I honestly think it looks like a summer candy cane! Yum :) I also actually tucked it in in the front for a bit of a high low effect - hopefully you thought it was made that way - I just felt like it needed some variety with all those stripes and loose layers you know?
I hope everyone is having a great summer by the way and just want to say my 4th of July was the best 4th of July I can remember! I don't think I'm hard to please but it was seriously jam packed with fun on the Bass Lake!
