There is a good variety of food, as we've tried French, Italian, Vietnamese, Japanese, and am looking forward to trying Indian hopefully before we leave. The trees are beautiful, the gardens are stunning, the amount of architecture and history just blows me away. Most people seem to speak decent English but occasionally they do not speak any and quite frankly I really want to learn French since we definitely plan on coming back.

I feel midi skirts are somehow so Parisian--probably because they are just so chic and elegant. Heels aren't too practical in Paris for long distances, but you simply can't wear a midi skirt without them so I wore this lovely Chicwish midi skirt and some comfy pumps to the flower shop and cafe right down the street. The flowers at the shop were just so lovely I had to get some even though we don't have a real vase in the hotel room (so I resorted to the empty kettle!).

Midi skirts are definitely parisian esque! Somehow when paired with simple heels just look so posh and chic! I love the outfit you have on. The textures and little details just blend so well together!
