How cute is this pansy print flippy dress? Light dresses are so great for hot summer weather. The material is as comfy as pajamas. But of course the tapered waist and slightly capped shoulder design with the "just enough" V-neck make for a much more complimentary look than pajamas I'm sure :) (I did get the dress hemmed 2 inches by the way.) TopShop actually has an adorable section of their online shop called "Prom Queen" which is full of retro 60's spring and summer items showcasing pastels, florals, sparkle and pearl touches. I am just in love with their prom theme :)
We actually shot these outside our hotel on our last day in Hawaii and it was a fun, quick shoot before we were off to an amazing breakfast at the Hula Grill in Waikiki of strawberry croissant french toast, orange + pineapple juice and a yummy Kahuna breakfast burrito. After that we grabbed some complimentary Royal Hawaiian mai tai's with a view of the ocean and some good music - though my guy Mike drank both since I am allergic to alcohol - and then we headed to the airport.

Out of curiosity: are you genuinely allergic to alcohol or are you also using it as your shortcut explanation to get people off your back about drinking? I'm Chinese/white and get severe alcohol flush. I get extremely sick from the smallest amount, but people give me weird reactions and laugh in my face if I try to explain alcohol flush, so I say I'm allergic.
@anonymous I'm genuinely allergic as I start to have trouble breathing after 1/3 of a mojito.
